Devotion••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••Take a pause with me and ask your self “Who is ahead of your journey?”After the feast ended Mary and Joseph went a head of the journey leaving Jesus behind. Imagine God giving Mary and Joseph the responsibility of taking care of the only heavenly beautiful treasure that God had gave Him to the world, Jesus who carried God’s dream land, vision, purpose, wisdom, salvation, redemption, Generations of kings and priests and the whole entire five fold ministry and now they have lost the savior of the world, the King of Kings, The LORD of lords, The great I AM, the prince of peace, Wonderful, Mighty Counselor, everlasting God, the ramson, the way, the truth and the life, the alpha and omega, the firstborn of all creation, the visible image of the invisible God, the author and the finisher of our faith what would be their response to God when He ask them where is the child?I believe they were in a great panic, stressed, half dead, boilous, knowing we will be held accountable before God, what are we going to answer when He asks us? The creations was and has been waiting for the promise now we have lost Him? I believe Satan could have put something in their hearts that there was a lot of people so we lost Him, but they went back instead and looked for Him, the question of Mary was not referred to the care about the child but to the trouble the child would have put before God and the waiting creation.
The Journey without Jesus is never complete.The journey without Jesus is a dangerous journey that leads us to loss, panic, struggle, to regrets, failure, disappointment, limitations.The question is, how can you live without the Life? Where can you go without the way? How can you be free without the Truth?How can you be forgiven without the ramson? How can you be healed without the Healer? How can you have without the provider?The reasons to our failure is we have gone ahead of God, we have gone ahead of Jesus, we have walk ahead of the way.When you walk alone, limitations, death, failure, regrets are investable.There are people who went are head in business, ministry, marriage, relationship but still behind and underground, they move but they don’t reach.Nothing happen, without Him.The good news is when God, when Jesus goes before you, healing, deliverance, progress, growth, revival etc is inevitable.
He makes ways for you, He gather kings before you, He order great men before you, He attracts nations before you, He brings increase, healing, restoration, joy, peace, comfort, guidance, help, helpers, fellow workers, commitment, passion and those who do good before you.
One thing I have learnt with the Shepard is that they never walk behind the sheep because sheep can’t lead themselves. Sheep recognizes the voice, the leadership, they supply, the protection, the love, the passion of the Shepard. Sheep they are never afraid or worried of how is the Lord the Shepard will take them through, what will happen to them, how are they going to survive? They only follow the lead, sheep are obedient, they trust their Shepard because they know him. So with you and me we don’t have to be afraid of what is ahead, where we’re going, what we are to eat or wear Jesus is ahead of us. Making room before nations for you, carrying you to the places He knows they are better.Sometimes we go when we are told to stay and that is a very great risk. We travel when we are told to wait, we marry when we are told to prepare, we teach when we are told to learn, we pray when we are told to sing, we we always do it in an opposite way.
What to do?••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••Know God’s timing Value the gift He gave you Know His leading Know His voice Follow is leading Do exactly as He instructs.
Prayer•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••Father I thank you because, you are going and you have gone before me, I am sorry when I thought I was delayed by you, I am sorry when I tried to work somethings behind you when you were leading me to where I belong, but because of my prides and wrong thought I thought of having work out a new for myself, I have learned in a hard ways through my failure, and today I realize that a journey without you is never complete.I am sorry that I have rushed into things I could not afford to carry on, I am so weary and confused but I know know you are my hope of glory, strength, wisdom, life, joy and success, you are everything that I would ever want always.Go before my Children and guide them.God before me, my family, and my spouse.Go before my ministry and everything that controls me because you are my inspiration, my motivation. Open new ways and new door, restore marriages, business and countries for your glory. Level crooked ways in my marriage, businesses, Christian life, financiers and all that concerns me.Open my eyes to follow your leading.Open my hears to hear your voice that I may not get lost and malfunction in the name of Jesus.Break all old wrong, evil ways.Thank you for answering and for making new ways before me, for cutting iron bars and copper bronze that limits me in Jesus name I pray Amen.
